Changes at St Peter's Centre

Following last month's exciting announcement about the next phase for St Peters Centre we are now looking for volunteers to come and join our friendly and vibrant team! We will be opening a comfortable coffee shop at HUB@St Peters with sofas, great coffee and cake. Our popular library will be expanding down into the nave, there will be a staffed information point on the mezzanine and we will be extending the Good Neighbour Scheme. Volunteering is a hugely rewarding experience, creating opportunities to get involved with your community, make new friends and have fun. You only need to give as much or as little time as you like, even just an hour of help can make a big difference.  There are lots of ways you could contribute, from baking cakes to helping in the cafe to joining our Good Neighbour team. If you would like to find out more please call 01981 550372 or email

Little Fishes Family Group - Parent, toddler and baby group in St Peter's Centre run by families for families.

Golden Valley Children Centre would like to thank the families for their enthusiasm and contribution in supporting the continuation of this weekly Play Session.
The Children Centre will continue to offer a once a month Let's Play session and invite all families to join us on the first Thursday of each month to enjoy play and song-time. Little Fishes will run on the continuing Thursdays of the month. Both Groups will run from 10.00am -11.30am.
Working with the Community and Health Professionals is important in the support for families of the Golden Valley area and we will respond to appropriate Request for Service ensuring that we work together to provide the best possible start in early years development.
